Could you please tell us about Özkan Textiles, an underwear company?

This is an adventure of 38 years, all dedicated to beauty. Our company started working in the textiles industry in 1978 and was named Özkan Tekstil San. ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. in 1980. With this change, it started manufacturing the products itself and trading in wholesale and retail. Özkan Textiles has been growing steadily in the past 38 years. Our underwear and home-wear products are aimed at ladies, men and children of all ages. There is a rich collection and a wide range of different items.

Özkan Textiles completes all of its production in its factory of 16.000 square meters, located in Silivri, Istanbul. Predominantly, cotton is used. Our products are offered to our customers in our stores in Istanbul, Yeşildirek, Laleli and Moscow (Russia). Customer satisfaction forms the basis of all our manufacturing process, including design and modelling, weaving and finishing. Customers both in Turkey and abroad can obtain quality products for a fair price. In addition to our customer base in Turkey, countries such as the USA, England, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia and Morocco are also in our customer portfolio.

How did your collaboration with Nebim start?

As a company that manufactures its own products, could you please tell us about the advantages of Nebim V3 for your production processes?

We have a three-phase production process at Özkan Textiles: from thread to raw cloth, from raw cloth to dyed cloth, and from dyed cloth to the product. Thanks to Nebim V3;

• The modelling department can accurately measure the efficiency regarding the design of our models. Thanks to this, the mistakes during model preparation have been almost completely eliminated.

• Work order needs are determined accurately and purchasing can be done without any errors.

• With work order planning, the products are delivered on time and time loss has been minimized.

• At the looms, the personnel productivity and the machine productivity during the day and at nighttime can be measured easily.

• Productivity at the cutting lines can be measured.

• Sewing lines and subcontractor work can be traced more easily.

• Sales and store comparisons can be analyzed more comfortably.

• Manageability in the HR and bookkeeping departments has increased.

In addition to these advantages, thanks to the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports we obtain from Nebim V3, we can foresee our future more accurately and make sound plans.
