Our company includes 26 stores such as Calvin Klein Jeans, Mendo’s, Brandy’s, A. Morato, Emporio Armani EA7 and distributes Joop, Antony Morato, Emporio Armani EA7, Guess Accessories. Our ERP choice is Nebim V3. After we started using the software we saw that standard reports were issued, automatic distribution among the stores was working, our coordinator could track the orders from abroad with reports from the data warehouse, and obtain reports with QlikView on IPadsincluding comparisons with last year. Before that, we had to wait for the working days and get information from the IT department. With Nebim V3, orders from showroom customers can be created with the order application.

Could you please tell us about the history of Çiçek İç Giyim?

Our company was founded in 1989. The strategy in the first years was to have sleeping wear and track suits produced and to sell them in gross. In 1989, our company became the agency and the distributor of Gottex swimwear. Our founding partner Mendo Stamati had the wish to enter the retail sector in 1992 and he planned our store at the Akmerkez mall. Alas, he passed away before he could see the store opening at Akmerkez. We have named our store Mendo’s after him. Today, our company includes 26 stores such as Calvin Klein Jeans, Mendo’s, Brandy’s, A. Morato, Emporio Armani EA7 and distributes Joop, Antony Morato, Emporio Armani EA7, Guess Accessories.

Your collaboration with Nebim goes back to 1998. How did you decide to change to Nebim V3 ERP?

Nebim Winner was able to meet many of our needs but there were some points where we said that additions would be really appreciated. We also grew as a company, and then we were introduced to Nebim V3 ERP and we thought that it might be the answer to our requirements. All ERP processes look difficult at first, but the details in the program were showing us a path in and carrying us one more step forward. Even though it was not an easy decision to change the whole system and to start everything afresh; when the e-Ledger started, we thought that we had to catch up with the changes and made the transition to the new ERP.

How did Nebim V3 ERP improve your business processes? When you compare the situation before and after Nebim V3, could you please tell us what the benefits are?

Following the decision to start using Nebim V3 ERP, a difficult period was going to begin for 26 users at the stores and 30 users at the headquarters. After we started using the software we saw that my standard reports were issued, automatic distribution among the stores was working, my coordinator could track the orders from abroad with reports from the data warehouse, and I could obtain reports with QlikView on IPads including comparisons with last year. Before that, I had to wait for the working days and get information from the IT department. With Nebim V3, orders from showroom customers can be created with the order application. Stores use the ordering system for the product transfers among themselves and most importantly for us, the module for allocation functions very efficiently, exactly the way we want it. Now, I can use the mobile revenue application on my phone and can obtain percentage-based reports about products or product groups on last year, or on a daily or monthly basis. Previously, I had to call some people and request this kind of report. I sincerely would like to thank Nebim V3 project team and our own project team because of the contributions to our business processes. During the transition phase to the new ERP, we observed that to want something, to believe in it and to work towards your goals brings you success.

What are the future plans of your company?

Our plans are to improve ourselves more and invest in the retail sector by opening new stores at the right locations with the newly added brands and the ones that we are going to acquire.
