“Nebim V3 has increased our production capacity and minimized our errors.”

MUDU Shoes started manufacturing shoes in Gedikpaşa in 2004. Following a growth strategy plan, MUDU shoes reached an important position in its field. Chairman of the Board of Directors of MUDU Shoes, Mümin Dulun, said that their growth accelerated when they started using Nebim V3. He said that they were contracted to produce shoes for Mammamia in 2007.

Mümin DULUN said: “At that time, there was an opportunity in the market of leather shoes, and we seized it successfully. We have developed rapidly. When we started working, we used to produce 250-300 pairs of shoes daily and it was easy to monitor the supply process and the production process of manufacturing this number of shoes. When we decided to increase production, we started manufacturing 400, 500, 600 pairs of shoes daily. With the increasing number of manufactured shoes, we were not able to manage and monitor our supply and production processes anymore. Therefore, we thought of monitoring our supply and production processes through a system and started researching this issue. We had a couple of production program alternatives and we decided using the Nebim Production program.”

Pointing out that they became acquainted with Nebim during their growth process, Mümin DULUN said: “After we decided to increase production, we couldn’t supply and monitor the increased production appropriately anymore. When the product volume increased, the errors became more frequent and the costs increased, and so we resolved to develop an automation system regarding production in order to prevent that. Our research showed that we needed to use a variety of software and that we needed to integrate them. We found out that we can collaborate with Nebim Solution Partner Başarı Software in order to obtain what we wanted in a much easier way so we decided to work with them.”

Expressing that the transition to the barcode system has provided them with great ease in supply management, Mümin DULUN explained: “The biggest advantage of Nebim V3 for us is that it has helped to increase production. As we manufacture our goods based on orders, we need to finish the supply process rapidly. Thanks to Nebim V3, the supply can be carried out in a fast manner and our production has accelerated immensely. Additionally, this system has made it easier for us to pinpoint the errors of the staff. In the past, everybody was able to say that the faulty party is another employee. In contrast, everybody starts their work by scanning their barcode now, and it is very clear who does what. Therefore, nearly all the errors have been eliminated. On another matter, the barcode system lets us buy just as many supplies as we need and the additional cost of regarding unused goods in the warehouse has disappeared.”

“We intend to establish connections with new machines”

Talking about the new collaborations and developments with Nebim, Mümin Dulun said: “We first started to monitor our general business process and then our production processes with Nebim V3. We built a belt system in every area. We intend to integrate Nebim V3 with our new production machines.”
